2017年から始まったサウンドブリッジ部門は、多様な音楽、そしてアート、パフォーマンス、同時代のカルチャーといったさまざまな分野を横断しながら、まちに広がるプログラムです。
サウンドブリッジではこれまで、港まちの環境とアーティストの表現がたがいに影響し合うことで、過去から未来への時間を含むその場にとどまらない作品が立ち上がり、その状況を参加者とともに共有してきました。アーティストがこの土地に呼応してつくりだす表現が、目の前にある景色や価値観をゆさぶり、その先の世界に触れるような体験を生み出します。
そうした体験がそれぞれの日常と出会うことで新たな視点が開かれ、また、港まちの文化や歴史がより豊かで多様なものへと拡張する機会となります。

Sound Bridge is a program that started in 2017 crisscrossing the various fields of music, art, performance, and cultures from the current era, spreading across in the Nagoya Port area. In Sound Bridge, both the environment of the Nagoya Port area and the expressions by the artists have been influencing each other, resulting in works unlimited to the present and connoting infinite time from the past to the future to appear and be shared with participants. Artists’ expressions made in resonance with the location will further tremble the landscape and visions in front of us, and create experiences allowing the viewers to sense a new world beyond.
By blending into the daily lives, these experiences will open up new perspectives, and will create opportunities for the culture and history of the Nagoya Port area to become even more affluent and diverse.
