The music division has always been conducting not only conventional concerts but also activities unique to this festival taking place in this area, such as concerts that create intimate distance between performers and audience, or ones held in venues where live music had never been played before. Little by little, we have gradually built the structure where the encounters with music and performers would leave something special to those who happened to be there.

This year, we will organize a participative program where the audience would not only listen to music but also play instruments and experience it, which will hopefully create an even more intimate relationship between the participants and the music.

Furthermore, the Residency Ensemble Project will take place this year again, and musicians from the younger generation allured with music will be staying in the Nagoya Port area. They will directly interact with the people in the area, and seek their own ways as musicians and deliver their music through collaborations with internationally renowned and currently active musicians. We hope the audience will enjoy their performances and also warmly support the young musicians growing together with the town and people of the Nagoya Port area.
